The journey of Urban Sweets started in 1981 as a family business
In the early days, the family business produced seven tons of honey gingerbread rounds and cheese wafers a day. So over the last 40 years, as has the world, the company has changed a lot.
Today, we have become the largest Hungarian-owned confectionery company, employing more than 100 people and operating our production halls on two sites. We already produce more than 6,000 tons of sweets a year not only for Hungary, but also European markets. Our mission is to serve the growing demand with high quality products and an affordable price policy, while keeping the trust of our customers unbroken. Our goal is to offer excellent domestic products for everyday and holidays.
We are constantly developing our international production lines
We believe that making sweets is an art that can only be accomplished with professional tools and by professionals. Technology is evolving rapidly, and building on tradition and good practice, we are constantly developing our international-quality production lines, modernizing and increasing our production capacity and selecting the best professionals for our staff. We have always taken quality work seriously, we have already won the award for the economy of Nógrád county, we have been successfully participating in several economic development tenders since 2011, and we have earned quality certifications.
Quality products from excellent ingredients with environment-friendly technology
The majority of our products made from domestic and quality ingredients are filled and dipped wafers, but we are also present on the shop shelves with several quality confectionery products such as gingerbread rounds, various tea biscuits and salty snack products. We mainly use RFA-certified cocoa in our products.
Az RFA az egyik legnagyobb minősítési program, melynek célja annak igazolása, hogy az árut olyan gazdaságokban készítik, ahol a termelők különös gonddal óvják a természetet és a helyi közösségeket. Célja a trópusi erdők megőrzése is, a környékén élő állatok és emberek védelme többek között a kakaó és egyéb növények fenntartható termelésének biztosítása.
We are committed to protecting the planet and our people, both in terms of the ingredients we use and the manufacturing technologies we use. We now operate our production halls using more and more renewable resources to minimize our impact on the environment.

A koronavírus világjárvány megmutatta annak szükségességét, hogy Magyarország önellátó legyen az élelmiszeripar területén. Fontos, hogy el tudjuk látni a hazai vásárlókat mindennel, amire szükségük van, ehhez pedig fontos a technikai fejlesztéseken túl a termékek kínálatának bővítése.
Úgy gondoljuk a fejlődésből sosem elég, 40 év tapasztalatával az utunkat továbbra is folyamatos innovációra törekvéssel képzeljük el. Termékeink receptúráját évtizedek óta tökéletesítjük, de figyelünk a világ új hangjaira és új kihívásaira. Az egészség értéke az elmúlt években kulcskérdéssé vált, amelyre cégünk is kereste a saját válaszát, így megalkottuk az új hozzáadott cukor nélküli termékcsaládjainkat, amelyek az egészségtudatos életmódba is könnyen beilleszthetőek. Klasszikus ízeink mellett folyamatosan megjelenő újdonságokkal is szeretnénk megfelelni a modern kor elvárásainak.

With tea biscuits, we know no limits!
Teasüteményeinket többféle formában készítjük, például kis szív, félhold, tallér, perec, karika, darálós forma, így mutatós igazán ez az édesség, és az ízekről még nem is szóltunk. Van ország, ahol nemzeti hagyománynak számít a keksz és a tea együttes fogyasztása, neve is innen fakad, hisz a keksz ott nélkülözhetetlen társa a teának, de mi nem álltunk meg itt. A kínálatunk olyan széles, hogy nemcsak tea mellé, hanem kávé mellé, de csakúgy önmagukban is ajánljuk.
